Wikis

Wikis are great. It's just such an awesome concept. Instead of paying some people to sit in a basement and write an encyclopaedia by candlelight, everyone can contribute their bit through the computer. When I want to know anything, I go to Wikis instead of doing Google search first since I know Wikis.

I think it's the best thing that's come out of web 2.0; something truly useful and revolutionary.

Something technology related huh?

I've never really given this much thought before, but I guess MP3 players are really neat.

They're so small and compact, yet their batteries last for hours and it plays full blown music into your ears.

What really sucks though is that they break.

Rollyo

Rollyo was neat, but frustrating. I haven't been able to figure out how to share my search tool. It seems like only I can use it.

It's quite a nice idea, but the thought of searching for a search-engine to search for what I want seems a bit superfluous. I think I'll stick to google for now :)

Library Thing

It's a neat idea, but seems to appeal to a rather narrow market. The whole groups concept is nice, in that it lets users create boards about certain topics. Rather than that, I actually felt it's nothing special in itself. There are a lot of websites out there, and on the whole, very few of these social networking sites really stand out.
